Retail Merchandising & Procurement Manager

About the role

We are looking for a proactive and commercially driven Retail Merchandising & Procurement Manager to lead the end‑to‑end retail procurement process, optimise product assortments and manage supplier relationships. The role ensures product availability, supports category growth and drives merchandising initiatives that improve operational efficiency and the customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Source and manage local suppliers and product portfolios, negotiating prices, commercial terms and service agreements.
• Develop and optimise retail product categories based on customer demand, market trends, sales performance and business objectives.
• Identify new products and commercial opportunities, and manage product launches, performance monitoring and phase‑outs.
• Monitor inventory levels, analyse purchasing, sales and stock trends to support demand forecasting and replenishment planning.
• Take corrective actions for slow‑moving and excess stock to optimise product availability across retail locations.
• Support showroom merchandising and retail development initiatives, preparing reports and recommendations to improve supplier performance, profitability and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Marketing or a related field.
• Professional certification in Procurement, Supply Chain or Category Management is a plus.
• More than 7 years of experience in retail procurement, merchandising, category management, inventory planning or supply chain.
• Experience in consumer electronics, home appliances, FMCG or modern retail is preferred.

Required skills

• ERP systems – preferably Microsoft Dynamics.
• Power BI for data visualisation.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
