Room Attendant – Housekeeping Attendant

About the role

The Room Attendant (Housekeeping Attendant) supports the entire housekeeping team to ensure a seamless and exceptional guest experience. You will coordinate daily tasks, monitor standards, and act as a liaison between guests and housekeeping staff.

Key responsibilities

• Delegate daily housekeeping activities and ensure timely completion.
• Maintain high operating standards in line with hotel brand guidelines.
• Monitor team performance, provide training support, and promote teamwork.
• Manage room availability, release of rooms, and coordination with floor supervision.
• Control departmental resources such as master keys, uniform and linen inventory, and incident reporting.
• Verify guest preferences and requests, ensuring they are fulfilled promptly.
• Arrange special occasion items (flowers, embroidered linens) and handle monthly lost‑and‑found processes.
• Oversee uniform cleaning/repair and coordinate departmental documentation.
• Fill in for Laundry Attendant during absences.

Required profile

• Strong planning and organizational abilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Commitment to delivering high‑level customer service and maintaining impeccable cleanliness standards.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
