Sales Engineer

About the role

Diamond Overseas Trading Co. LLC, a Jordanian chemical trading company, is looking for a Sales Engineer to drive sales of its detergent‑industry chemicals and expand its customer base across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales plans to meet business targets.
• Manage and grow relationships with key customers and suppliers.
• Identify new customers, projects, products and business opportunities.
• Lead negotiations on pricing, quantities, payment terms and delivery conditions.
• Oversee the full sales cycle from inquiry and quotation to order execution and follow‑up.
• Coordinate with purchasing, logistics, finance and technical teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide product and technical support in collaboration with the Technical Team.
• Monitor market trends and identify commercially viable raw materials.
• Prepare sales and customer visit reports and update management on performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in sales, preferably in raw materials, chemicals or industrial fragrance.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills in Arabic and English.
• Strong customer relationship, business development and analytical abilities.
• Willingness to conduct regular customer and field visits.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced use of Microsoft 365.
