Security Officer – Property Patrol & Guest Assistance

About the role

The Security Officer ensures the safety of guests, employees, and property assets by patrolling the premises, monitoring security systems, and responding swiftly to incidents. This full‑time, onsite position requires a proactive approach to loss prevention and guest assistance in a hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property and lock entrances when required.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarm, duress alarm, and fire life‑safety systems.
• Conduct daily physical hazard inspections and report safety issues.
• Respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR, and coordinate EMS when needed.
• Assist guests and employees during emergencies and defuse disturbances.
• Complete incident, shift‑summary, and loss‑prevention reports.
• Escort unwelcome persons and handle vehicle accident or theft scenes.
• Maintain confidentiality of all security and property documents.
• Conduct investigations, gather evidence, and interview relevant parties.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, or run for extended periods and lift up to 50 lb unaided.
• Clear communication skills and professional appearance.
• Willingness to follow company policies, safety training, and licensing requirements.
• Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
