Senior Assistant Software Implementation

About the role

The Senior Assistant Software Implementation position is based in Amman, Jordan, and supports the deployment and implementation of software solutions used in health management systems. It covers both transition planning and software support, with 50% of the time spent on each. Only applicants eligible to work in Jordan without employer-provided sponsorship are eligible.

Key responsibilities

• Transition planning: assist the Head of Department and IT team in testing, installation and staff training during software transitions, keeping data integrity intact
• Global rollout support: help implement software across international missions and coordinate with external partners
• Monitor implementation progress and act as a key contact for user support
• Ensure systems comply with privacy, security and confidentiality standards
• Help develop rollout plans with field teams and the medical department
• Contribute to user guides and training modules
• Support healthcare professionals with troubleshooting and training, and help with routine updates, patches and configuration changes
• Document issue resolutions and update system documentation and procedures
• Gather user feedback and help implement improvements
• Support disaster recovery plan creation and testing, and stay current on health IT best practices

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or a related health or IT field
• At least 1 month of experience, including volunteering or internship
• Experience in Health IT is preferable
• Very good English
• Travel required 50% of the time
