Senior Business Analyst

About the role

Siren is looking for a Senior Business Analyst in Amman who will work closely with clients and cross-functional internal teams to identify, analyse and solve complex business problems. The role covers understanding business needs, turning them into clear technical and functional requirements, and supporting the delivery of digital solutions aligned with project objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Work with clients and stakeholders to identify, analyse and document business requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories.
• Analyse and document existing business processes to find areas for optimization.
• Create documentation such as BRDs, functional specifications, process flows and data flow diagrams.
• Define acceptance criteria and support QA and UAT by validating outputs against requirements.
• Collaborate with software developers and other teams so that business and technical requirements stay aligned.
• Support solution design, assist in testing and quality checks, and guide users through system changes.
• Analyse data to generate insights, conduct research on industry trends, and present findings and recommendations to clients and internal teams.
• Provide post-implementation support and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in business analysis or a related role.
• Fluency in Arabic and English with strong writing skills.
• Good understanding of the Jordanian and MENA context.
• Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment.

Required skills

• Requirements engineering and documentation standards.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent verbal and written communication.
• Preferred: PMI-PBA, CBAP or equivalent certification; knowledge of ARIS is a plus.
