Senior Consolidation Accountant

About the role

Brain Catch, part of Behar Group, is recruiting on behalf of a leading Holding Group for a Senior Consolidation Accountant to join its Group Reporting & Consolidation department in Amman, Jordan. The role covers preparing consolidated financial statements and supporting the group reporting close.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reporting schedules.
• Prepare group consolidation packs, including intercompany eliminations and adjustments.
• Collect and consolidate financial data from subsidiaries for group reporting.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and support the financial reporting close.
• Prepare variance analysis and management reporting schedules.
• Prepare financial statement disclosures and notes in accordance with IFRS.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and ensure compliance with accounting policies and IFRS.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, audit or group consolidation.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and consolidation principles, and strong technical accounting knowledge.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel: XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS, PivotTables, Power Query, Dynamic Array formulas, What-If Analysis, Financial Modeling, Power Pivot / Data Model.
• ERP reporting systems experience.
• Dashboard development knowledge is preferred.
