Senior Information Management Officer – Humanitarian Response

About the role

The Senior Information Management Officer will lead the aggregation and mapping of service and infrastructure data across the Gaza Strip, supporting evidence‑driven humanitarian planning. Working under the Research Manager, the officer will coordinate with partners such as ACTED, UNDP and UN‑Habitat to produce a comprehensive overview of ongoing programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, validate and integrate service and infrastructure data from local, national and international actors.
• Produce and maintain GIS‑based maps of humanitarian assets and displacement sites.
• Analyse data to generate actionable insights for coordination and strategic decision‑making.
• Engage independently with partners, presenting findings to diverse audiences.
• Support multi‑sectoral household assessments and market assessments in Gaza.

Required profile

• Proven experience in humanitarian information management or a similar field.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work autonomously.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to operate in a high‑pressure, conflict‑affected environment.
