Senior Partnership Officer

About the role

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is hiring a Senior Partnership Officer for its Jordan Country Program. The post supports the growth and quality of partnerships, identifying, building and sustaining relationships with government actors, civil society, women-led and women-focused organizations, community-based organizations and private sector actors. It coordinates the day-to-day partnership lifecycle, including support to the sub-awards portfolio, so that every partnership is effective, well organized and compliant with IRC and donor requirements. The post works under the guidance of the Senior Programs Coordinator and collaborates with program, technical, finance, compliance and MEAL teams.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update a partnership ecosystem map and stakeholder analysis, and build a prioritized pipeline of prospective strategic partners aligned with the Strategy Action Plan.
• Support outreach, networking, exposure visits and relationship-building, and run structured relationship management including senior leadership alignment meetings and an annual partnership health check.
• Contribute to equitable co-design and co-delivery with local actors, and support capacity sharing and two-way learning with partners.
• Track progress against partnership commitments, such as the share of the budget channeled to local partners and the number of women-led or women-focused partnerships, and report risks and opportunities.
• Capture and share evidence and lessons from partnerships to inform future choices.
• Manage the partnership lifecycle: screen prospects, schedule design meetings, collect documents, prepare the scope of work, cover letter, teaming agreement or Pre-Award Letter, and run the Partner Capacity Analysis.
• Draft the Partnership Agreement with annexes, coordinate the Project Support Plan, and organize the opening meeting and the Partners' Project Opening Meeting (PPOM).
