Senior Household Survey Consultant for MICS Support in MENA

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a Senior Household Survey Consultant to support the Multiple Indicator Cluster Surveys (MICS) in Morocco and Saudi Arabia. The consultant will work remotely for a total of 16 days, providing technical review, workshop support, and survey planning assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Review Morocco MICS preliminary results tables (2 days).
• Support the MICS results validation workshop for Morocco (5 days).
• Review the Morocco MICS Survey Findings Report and statistical snapshots (4 days).
• Provide remote technical support for Saudi Arabia MICS survey planning (5 days).

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Demography, Statistics, Epidemiology or related field.
• Minimum 15 years experience in quantitative household surveys and survey report writing.
• Documented experience with the MICS programme and national statistical offices.
• Fluency in written and spoken Arabic; French is desirable.

Required skills

• Expertise in quantitative household survey methodology.
• Ability to review and interpret survey data tables and reports.
• Experience facilitating data interpretation workshops.
