Senior Procurement Officer - Retail

About the role

Key Jordan is seeking a Senior Procurement Officer to lead sourcing activities for its retail division. The role focuses on developing cost‑effective procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of consumer electronics, home appliances, and related supplies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies for products and services.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliers.
• Manage procurement of consumer electronics, home appliances, accessories, and operational supplies.
• Prepare purchase orders, monitor order status, and ensure on‑time delivery.
• Coordinate with Sales, Inventory, Warehouse, and Finance to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Monitor inventory trends and demand forecasts to avoid shortages or excess.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships; evaluate performance regularly.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, contracts, and approval procedures.
• Analyze purchasing data and market trends to identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Resolve supplier issues related to quality, pricing, delivery, and warranties.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and documentation.
• Support new product launches by coordinating sourcing and supplier readiness.
• Participate in annual budgeting and procurement planning.
• Ensure compliance with import regulations, customs, and legal standards.
• Continuously improve procurement processes and cost optimization.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Procurement, or related field.
• 5–7 years of procurement experience, including mandatory experience in the retail industry.
• Proven experience managing local and international suppliers and negotiating contracts.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, and strategic sourcing.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP.
• Experience using Oracle ERP.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics.
• Knowledge of Odoo ERP platform.
