Senior Project Coordinator – Iqlaa Project

About the role

The Senior Project Coordinator will support the Project Manager in delivering the Iqlaa Project, ensuring that schedules, budgets, and reporting meet JRF guidelines. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders, field officers, and local communities to drive successful project outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Produce statistical, analytical, and narrative reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Ensure timely submission of all project-related PRs/DGRs and follow up on required actions.
• Develop and update the action plan and monitor budget expenditures to stay within financial resources.
• Maintain productive relationships with stakeholders, conduct regular field visits, and monitor project staff implementation.
• Review and update work plans in coordination with the Program Manager to align with donor requirements.
• Coordinate day‑to‑day activities of field officers and manage resource utilization.
• Engage with beneficiaries, contractors, partners, and local government to ensure project coherence.
• Participate in field activities such as information sessions, trainings, and mentorship visits.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in management, economics, international development, social science, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in international development or humanitarian assistance.
• Proven experience in project implementation and field‑level development activities, especially in livelihoods, community engagement, or environmental conservation.
• Strong background working directly with local communities, particularly women and youth.
