Senior Software Engineer (.NET / Angular)

About the role

Carseer is looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Software Engineer to join its technology team in Amman, Jordan. The successful candidate will design, develop and maintain scalable and reliable software solutions, working closely with product and engineering teams to deliver high-quality applications, contribute to architectural decisions and help improve the company's technology platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain scalable web applications and REST APIs.
• Write clean, efficient, secure and maintainable code following software engineering best practices.
• Build and enhance applications using C#, ASP.NET.NET Core and Angular.
• Contribute to software architecture, design patterns and technical decisions.
• Lead the development of new features and improve existing systems.
• Review code and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
• Work with Product Owners and stakeholders to define and refine requirements.
• Take part in Agile/Scrum activities such as sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.
• Resolve complex technical issues and production incidents, and support release and deployment processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 4+ years of professional software development experience, preferably with .NET technologies.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, Git and modern development practices.
• Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment; strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Nice to have: experience with AWS or other cloud platforms and microservices architecture.
