Senior Systems Engineer

About the role

IRIS Technology is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join its technical team in Amman, Jordan. The role involves designing, implementing, integrating, and supporting enterprise infrastructure, Microsoft technologies, cloud platforms, data protection, and AI solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure, including physical servers, storage, virtualization (VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper‑V, Nutanix AHV).
• Install, configure and troubleshoot Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and related services.
• Deploy and manage Microsoft 365, Office 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune/MDM and Microsoft Copilot.
• Design, deploy and manage cloud environments on Microsoft Azure and AWS, supporting migrations and hybrid solutions.
• Implement backup, replication, disaster recovery and endpoint protection solutions.
• Integrate enterprise AI solutions using OpenAI, Anthropic Claude and other platforms.
• Apply security best practices, perform advanced troubleshooting and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 4–5 years hands‑on experience in systems engineering or enterprise IT, preferably with a system integrator.
• Strong customer communication, documentation and problem‑solving skills.
