Site Civil Engineer

About the role

Arab World Equipment Co. (AWECOM) is seeking a Site Civil Engineer to join its Ajloun construction team. In this full‑time, on‑site position you will be responsible for supervising the execution of box and pipe culvert works, ensuring they meet design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily site activities, guaranteeing safe and efficient execution according to the schedule.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site crews to achieve project objectives.
• Review construction drawings, technical specifications, and contract documents for compliance.
• Prepare, review, and update shop drawings and site layouts using AutoCAD.
• Monitor progress, identify issues, and implement practical solutions to maintain productivity.
• Collaborate with consultants, clients, and stakeholders to resolve technical and site‑related challenges.
• Prepare daily reports, track resource utilization, and maintain accurate site records.
• Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and environmental requirements throughout execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience on infrastructure projects (roads, water supply, sewage).
• Proven ability to manage and coordinate subcontractors.
• Strong understanding of construction specifications, standards, and contract drawings.
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills under pressure.
• Effective communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.
