Software Pre‑Sales Engineer – Gulf Market

About the role

We are looking for a Software Pre‑Sales Engineer to support our Gulf market customers, primarily in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. You will work closely with sales teams to translate business needs into technical solutions and help win new business.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical pre‑sales support, including solution design, proposal writing, and response to RFPs/RFIs/RFQs.
• Deliver product presentations, demos, and proof‑of‑concept sessions to prospects.
• Engage with customers in workshops and discovery meetings, explaining technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Create high‑level and low‑level architecture diagrams, implementation approaches, and integration workflows.
• Collaborate with engineering, delivery, product and support teams to ensure smooth hand‑over to implementation.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry trends, competitor offerings and company products.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in pre‑sales, solution engineering or technical consulting.
• Proven ability to prepare technical proposals and respond to RFPs.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment.
• Customer‑oriented mindset with good negotiation and stakeholder‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of APIs, integrations, databases and enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity, infrastructure, data or AI solutions (a plus).
• Proficiency with diagramming tools (Visio, Draw.io, etc.).
• Relevant technical certifications are advantageous.
