Solar Systems Design & Technical Support Engineer

About the role

Power Source Jordan is looking for a motivated engineer to join its team and contribute to the design and technical delivery of solar PV projects. The position is based in Amman and requires availability for site visits.

Key responsibilities

• Design on-grid, off-grid and hybrid solar PV systems.
• Perform technical calculations, including inverter selection, string sizing and cable and battery sizing.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), material lists, project quotations, Single-Line Diagrams (SLDs), 3D layouts and technical proposals.
• Prepare and review material submittals in line with project specifications.
• Coordinate with customers during the design process and answer technical questions.
• Carry out site surveys, shading assessments and technical troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering or a related engineering field.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in solar PV design and technical support.
• Excellent written and spoken Arabic and English.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must be based in Amman and available for site visits.
