Speech Therapy Supervisor

About the role

Play To Say Center provides speech and language therapy for children, using play as a core tool in sessions within a safe and enjoyable environment. The Speech Therapy Supervisor leads the clinical and operational aspects of the Speech Therapy Department, ensures high-quality therapy services, supports therapists and works closely with families and multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead assessment and treatment planning for new cases
• Provide clinical supervision and guidance to speech therapists
• Monitor children's progress and ensure therapy goals are achieved
• Oversee department operations, including documentation and scheduling
• Collaborate with Occupational Therapy and Behavioral Therapy teams for integrated care
• Support professional development and performance evaluation of therapists
• Contribute to therapy program development and service quality improvement
• Maintain effective communication with families about therapy progress

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech and Language Therapy
• Valid Jordanian Ministry of Health license to practice Speech Therapy (required)
• Experience working with children, especially in a therapeutic or play-based environment, highly preferred
• Proficiency in Arabic and English

Required skills

• Proficiency in speech therapy techniques, language intervention methods and play-based therapy approaches
• Knowledge of assessment tools and ability to develop tailored therapy plans
• Leadership skills to mentor a clinical team
• Strong communication and organizational skills
