Supervisor – Occupational Safety & Health

About the role

The Supervisor of Occupational Safety & Health ensures a safe and healthy work environment for all hotel associates. This full‑time, onsite position focuses on risk assessment, hazard inspection, and compliance with safety policies.

Key responsibilities

• Assess workplace risks and implement measures to reduce illness and injury.
• Inspect hazardous factors, equipment, and facilities for safety compliance.
• Monitor, report, and advise on safe work practices across the hotel.
• Support management in training, motivating, and coaching staff on safety procedures.
• Serve as the first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions promptly to management.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Perform routine visual inspections of tools, equipment, and work areas.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in safety supervision, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage staff in safety programs.
• Physical ability to perform inspections, lift up to 50 lb unassisted and up to 75 lb with assistance.
