Systems Administrator II

About the role

The Systems Administrator II will manage and support Windows server, workstation, and application environments for V2X. The role involves troubleshooting, system upgrades, backups, and providing technical mentorship to internal and external customers.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Active Directory, WINS, DNS, DHCP, and print services.
• Manage Exchange Server (2008 or higher) and Outlook Web Access.
• Oversee Microsoft SMS, MOM/SCOM, SCCM, and WSUS.
• Perform file server backup and restores using VERITAS Backup Exec.
• Maintain hardware platforms (Dell, HP), LTO tape libraries, fiber switches, and SANs.
• Ensure antivirus and security compliance with US Army standards.
• Provide user and Exchange account support, establish shift schedules, and handle employee appraisals and training records.

Required profile

• Active Secret Security Clearance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a host‑nation visa and driver’s license.
• Experience with Windows server administration and related Microsoft technologies.
