Systems Administrator II

About the role

The Systems Administrator II will manage and support Windows server, workstation and application environments for V2X’s global operations. The role involves troubleshooting, system upgrades, backups, and providing technical mentorship to internal and external customers.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft Windows Server services including Active Directory, WINS, DNS, DHCP, and print queues.
• Manage Exchange servers (2008 or higher) and Outlook Web Access.
• Maintain Microsoft SMS, MOM/SCOM, SCCM, and WSUS environments.
• Perform file server backup and restore operations using VERITAS Backup Exec.
• Conduct regular hardware maintenance and troubleshooting on Dell, HP, LTO tape libraries, fiber switches, and SANs.
• Ensure antivirus and security compliance with US Army standards.
• Provide user and Exchange account support, establish shift schedules, and oversee employee appraisals and training records.
• Perform other duties as required.

Required profile

• Active Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience (one year of experience may substitute for one year of education).
• Relevant experience in Windows server administration and enterprise IT environments.
