Systems Administrator II – Windows/Active Directory

About the role

The Systems Administrator II will manage and support Windows‑based servers, workstations, and applications in an Active Directory environment. You will ensure system availability, perform upgrades, and provide technical mentorship to both internal and external customers.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft Windows Server 2008 services including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, WINS, and print queues.
• Manage Exchange Server (2008 or newer) and Outlook Web Access.
• Operate Microsoft SMS, MOM/SCOM, SCCM, and WSUS for monitoring and patch management.
• Perform backups and restores using VERITAS Backup Exec.
• Maintain hardware platforms (Dell, HP), LTO tape libraries, fiber switches, and SANs.
• Enforce antivirus and security standards in line with US Army regulations.
• Schedule shifts, conduct employee appraisals, and maintain training records.

Required profile

• Active Secret Clearance.
• Experience with Windows server administration and Microsoft enterprise tools.
• Ability to obtain and maintain host‑nation visa and driver’s license.
