Tax Associate

About the role

Kitchen Park is looking for a Tax Associate to support its growing operations across the GCC region. The role will be based in the Amman office and will involve a mix of direct and indirect tax work, as well as collaboration with external advisors and internal legal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in calculating tax liabilities and preparing tax forms for filing across GCC jurisdictions.
• Maintain tax‑specific transaction records, including tax journals, capital expenditure details, and depreciation schedules.
• Coordinate with external auditors, lawyers, and regulatory agencies on tax matters.
• Work with the legal department on entity maintenance from a tax perspective.
• Support Middle‑East tax projects for headquarters, gathering quarterly and annual data.
• Prepare and file indirect tax (VAT) returns.
• Interact with third‑party service providers as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate income tax and VAT within local jurisdictions.
• At least 1 year of transfer pricing experience.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• In‑house tax experience is essential; consultancy experience is a plus.

Required skills

• Knowledge of GCC corporate income tax regulations.
• Experience with VAT compliance and filing.
• Understanding of transfer pricing principles.
