Technical Manager – Cloud Infrastructure

About the role

The Technical Manager will lead the operation and continuous improvement of a large‑scale, cloud‑hosted infrastructure supporting Orange Money services. This senior role combines hands‑on technical expertise with leadership of internal teams and external service providers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of servers, networks, storage, Microsoft environments and domain controllers.
• Govern the cloud provider, ensuring SLA compliance, availability and business‑continuity targets.
• Oversee hosting, capacity planning and performance of ASP.NET Core applications and Microsoft SQL Server databases.
• Coordinate integrations with third‑party systems and the national switch (JOPACC), guaranteeing transaction integrity.
• Supervise network infrastructure, firewalls, VPN access and ensure secure connectivity.
• Control privileged access management workflows and approvals.
• Utilise Dynatrace APM and related tools for proactive monitoring and performance optimisation.
• Plan and execute disaster‑recovery tests, backup strategies and capacity forecasts.
• Lead incident and problem management, driving root‑cause analysis and remediation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or IT (Master’s a plus).
• 7‑10 years of experience in large‑scale IT infrastructure and operations.
• At least 3 years in a managerial or team‑lead role.
• Proven experience with cloud‑hosted environments and managing outsourced service providers.
• Background in fintech, digital payments, banking or telecom regulated environments is a strong plus.
• Relevant certifications required (e.g., ITIL, PMP, Microsoft Azure/MCSE, Fortinet NSE, CCNA/CCNP).
