Ubuntu/Linux User for AI Data Training (Remote Contractor)

About the role

We are seeking individuals who regularly use Ubuntu/Linux to support AI data training projects. This fully remote, hourly‑paid contractor position involves installing applications, following detailed guidelines, and recording actions while ensuring high‑quality data for AI models.

Key responsibilities

• Follow written instructions precisely and apply them to tasks.
• Install and operate required applications on an Ubuntu/Linux computer.
• Review work for errors before submission.
• Identify inconsistencies, unclear instructions, or technical issues.
• Maintain focus during repetitive, detail‑heavy tasks.
• Complete assigned work within the agreed weekly availability.
• Communicate clearly with the project team when support is needed.
• Contribute to improving the quality of AI model training data.

Required profile

• Own a personal computer running Ubuntu/Linux.
• Comfortable installing required apps, tools, and project software independently.
• Available for approximately 15 hours per week.
• Patient, concentrated, and detail‑oriented.
• Reliable, responsive, and able to meet task deadlines.
• Students, junior candidates, and Linux enthusiasts are encouraged to apply.
