VTC Technician I – Video Teleconferencing Specialist

About the role

The VTC Technician I will support video teleconferencing (VTC) events worldwide, operating and maintaining a range of VTC equipment and ensuring reliable, secure connectivity for customers. This position reports to the Site Manager and may involve rotating shift coverage.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with customers to confirm equipment readiness and set up VTC conferences.
• Establish secure and non‑secure network connections, route cables, and configure audio/video links.
• Adjust sound and lighting levels for optimal performance and comfort.
• Troubleshoot VTC and connectivity issues with local and remote technical teams.
• Configure modems, manage data timing and transfer rates, and operate the VTC Bridge.
• Perform weekly maintenance on all VTC hardware and software.
• Provide technical support for all VTC circuits attached to the bridge.

Required profile

• Active Secret security clearance.
• High school diploma or GED (additional education may substitute for experience).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in video teleconferencing or audio‑video production.
• Ability to work rotating shifts covering 24/7 operations.
• Customer‑service orientation and ability to work in a multinational environment.
