Web Application Developer (Consultant)

About the role

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) is seeking a consultant to design, develop, and maintain a secure, user‑friendly web‑based platform that will support research activities across the agency. The role is remote and will be carried out under the supervision of the Senior Research and Partnership Officer in the Relief and Social Services Department.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive and user‑friendly web interfaces using HTML.
• Build a secure web‑based platform to host the Research Review Board application process and provide access to UNRWA research resources.
• Ensure the platform is scalable for future integration of digital archival collections and related research outputs.
• Collaborate closely with the Senior Research and Partnership Officer and other stakeholders within the Relief and Social Services Department.
