About the role
The Assistant Director of Sales supports the implementation of Hyatt Regency Aqaba Ayla’s sales strategy, helping to drive revenue across rooms, food & beverage and other departments while ensuring alignment with corporate marketing initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in executing the hotel’s sales strategy to exceed forecasted revenue targets.
- Ensure sales activities align with the corporate marketing strategy and implement relevant hotel actions.
- Represent the sales function on the hotel’s Leadership Committee in the Director’s absence.
- Help prepare and update departmental operations manuals.
- Attend departmental meetings, ensuring effective communication and briefings.
- Maintain accurate sales files and systems, including booking procedures, group room and meeting program history, contracts, room block analysis, and payment documentation.
- Monitor delivery of the brand promise and provide constructive feedback to department heads.
- Ensure sales associates deliver excellent internal service to other departments.
- Handle guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries courteously and efficiently.
