Associate – Audit & Assurance (External Audit)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking an experienced Associate to join its Audit & Assurance team in Jordan. You will work on external audit engagements, building trust with stakeholders and delivering high‑quality audit services while developing a deep understanding of client businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Build credibility with clients by understanding service expectations and individual priorities.
• Deliver audit services with awareness of regulatory impact and risk management.
• Prepare and adapt referral instructions, outlining audit scope and focus areas.
• Liaise with onshore and offshore Centres of Excellence, ensuring accurate information exchange.
• Track deliverables from component auditors and link risks, controls, procedures, and findings.
• Articulate audit quality milestones and contribute to overall audit quality.
• Prepare documentation anticipating reviewer questions and distinguish accounting from auditing judgments.
