Financial Crime Intelligence & Data Analytics Senior Consultant, Deals

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Financial Crime Intelligence team within the Deals practice. You will help clients mitigate financial crime risks by delivering data‑driven analytics, building monitoring tools, and supporting regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and enhance dashboards and monitoring tools for data‑driven decision‑making.
• Develop and maintain mule‑account detection models to flag suspicious behaviour.
• Perform network analytics to uncover potential fraud.
• Support clients in tracking KRIs and KPIs related to financial crime.
• Apply detection models to strengthen risk identification frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver end‑to‑end analytics solutions.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior stakeholders and regulators.
• Coach and mentor junior team members.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years of experience with ETL processes using Python, SQL, or Alteryx.
• Proven ability to create dashboards in Power BI or Tableau.
• Background in financial crime compliance, AML/CTF, risk, or the financial sector is highly preferred.
• Experience with big data and machine‑learning models is a plus.
• Middle‑East experience is desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal English and Arabic communication skills.
