Business Excellence Lead – Damascus

About the role

The Business Excellence Lead will drive enterprise‑wide digital transformation and business‑process excellence for a leading organisation in Damascus. Reporting to senior management, you will redesign and digitise end‑to‑end processes, implement automation solutions and create performance‑monitoring frameworks that deliver measurable value.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of digital transformation roadmaps aligned with strategic objectives.
• Redesign and digitise business processes across departments, introducing integrated workflows and automation.
• Implement workflow automation using BPMS, RPA and low‑code/no‑code platforms.
• Establish governance, standards and KPIs for automated processes, ensuring compliance and quality.
• Develop real‑time dashboards and reporting tools to enhance operational transparency.
• Monitor process performance, drive continuous optimisation and support data‑driven decision making.
• Lead change‑management initiatives to foster digital adoption and a culture of continuous improvement.
• Provide guidance and support to teams adopting new digital solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems or a related field.
• 8–12 years of progressive experience in Business Excellence, Digital Transformation or Process Automation.
• Proven leadership of large‑scale digital transformation and automation programmes.
• Experience in telecom, infrastructure, utilities, real estate or large enterprise environments is preferred.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Business Process Management Systems (BPMS).
• Proficiency in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools.
• Experience with low‑code/no‑code development platforms.
