Electrical Technician

About the role

We are looking for an Electrical Technician to join our facilities team in Amman. The role involves responding to guest repair requests, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring all building systems operate safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to and attend guest repair requests, communicating with guests to resolve issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, mechanical room equipment and building systems.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment and machines; carry necessary tools and radios.
• Identify, locate and operate shut‑off valves for equipment and building utilities.
• Maintain maintenance inventory, requisition parts and supplies as needed.
• Communicate daily activities and problems to other shifts using approved procedures.
• Conduct surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood trim repairs, and clean work areas.
• Test, troubleshoot and repair electrical components, plumbing fixtures, HVAC filters, lighting, TVs and other guestroom items.
• Use Lockout/Tagout procedures before any maintenance work.
• Perform interior and exterior landscaping repairs, including sprinkler systems.
• Enter air‑handler schedules and adjust temperature settings via computer.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge or ability to acquire knowledge in air‑conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems, carpentry, kitchen equipment, vehicles and energy conservation.
• Ability to follow company safety, security and environmental policies.
• Physical capability to lift, carry, push or pull objects up to 50 lb and perform heavier lifts with assistance.
• Professional appearance, confidentiality and strong communication skills.
