KG Teacher

About the role

The Kindergarten (KG) Teacher will deliver the SABIS curriculum to young learners, fostering a supportive environment that encourages academic and personal growth. The role involves using SABIS teaching methods and the point system to ensure student success.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons using provided lesson plans or develop them based on pacing charts.
• Mark examinations and assessments in line with departmental schedules.
• Collaborate with the Academic Quality Controller and Head of Department on disciplinary and performance matters.
• Implement the SABIS Point System to maintain a conducive classroom environment.
• Proctor exams and manage test conditions.
• Provide guidance and motivation to low‑performing students.
• Assist with administrative duties such as student testing, substitute teaching, lunch and bus organization, and traffic control.
• Participate in student life activities, including art events, open houses, and physical education, coordinating with the Student Life Coordinator.
• Attend training sessions to deepen understanding of the SABIS system.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of teaching experience.
• Proficiency in English.
• Professional behavior, ethical conduct, and strong communication skills.
• Commitment to continuous learning, accountability, and delivering results.
