Lead Outsystems Developer

About the role

BlackStone eIT is seeking a Lead Outsystems Developer to drive the delivery of high‑quality Outsystems applications for our clients. In this senior position you will guide development teams, mentor junior engineers, and work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Outsystems applications that meet business needs.
• Provide technical leadership, enforce best practices, and mentor team members.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements and produce clear technical specifications.
• Oversee the full software development lifecycle, from architecture and design through testing and deployment.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Stay up‑to‑date with Outsystems platform advancements and integrate new technologies where appropriate.
• Lead project meetings, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of milestones.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of software development experience, with a focus on Outsystems.
• At least 3 years in a leadership or senior role within the Outsystems ecosystem.
• Deep understanding of application design patterns and software development best practices.
• Experience working with Agile project management methodologies.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proactive problem‑solver with a passion for continuous learning.
• Outsystems certification(s) highly regarded.
