Loss Prevention Officer

About the role

The Loss Prevention Officer ensures the safety of guests, employees, and assets at the Amman Marriott Hotel. You will patrol the property, monitor security systems, and respond swiftly to emergencies while maintaining a professional presence.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the hotel and assist guests with room access.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarm, duress alarms, and fire‑life safety systems.
• Lock property entrances when required and conduct daily hazard inspections.
• Respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR, and contact EMS as needed.
• Defuse guest or employee disturbances and call for external assistance when necessary.
• Complete incident reports, shift summaries, and daily activity logs.
• Escort unwelcome persons and report vehicle accidents or thefts.
• Conduct investigations, gather evidence, and interview relevant parties.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lb unaided.
• Strong physical stamina and the capacity to respond quickly to emergencies.
• Professional appearance, confidentiality, and adherence to company policies.
• Clear, courteous communication with guests, staff, and external agencies.
