About the role

The bank is seeking a senior HR professional to lead its Performance Management, Compensation & Benefits, Talent Management, and Succession Planning functions. This role will design and implement programs that align employee performance and rewards with the bank’s strategic objectives, ensuring competitiveness and compliance.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute performance, rewards, and employee benefits programs aligned with strategic goals.
  • Conduct salary benchmarking, market analysis, and job evaluations to maintain competitive compensation structures.
  • Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, KPI development, reviews, and development planning.
  • Drive talent management, succession planning, workforce planning, and career development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with HR and business stakeholders to improve employee engagement, retention, and overall experience.
  • Ensure internal equity, external competitiveness, and compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives applying best practices in compensation, performance, and talent management.
  • Provide leadership and operational oversight across head office, subsidiaries, and international branches.
  • Monitor HR metrics, prepare management reports, and support data‑driven decision‑making.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Banking, HR, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of HR experience in performance management, compensation & benefits, talent, or succession planning.
  • Professional HR certification preferred (e.g., SHRM, CIPD).
  • Strong command of English and good knowledge of Jordanian Labour Law.
  • Proven leadership, supervisory, and people‑management abilities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
  • Strong planning, organization, and problem‑solving capabilities.
