About the role
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Jordan is seeking a Programme Analyst with strong economic and innovative finance expertise. The role supports the design and implementation of the Integrated National Financing Framework (INFF) and contributes to the Financing for Development (FfD) portfolio.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct data collection, analysis and mapping of Jordan’s financing landscape to inform the INFF.
- Develop policy briefs, technical notes and reports on financing strategies aligned with national development priorities.
- Coordinate with government ministries, private sector partners and development cooperation agencies to align public and private capital flows.
- Support the preparation and dissemination of the Development Finance Assessment and thematic studies.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops, meetings and knowledge‑sharing events.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Development Studies or a related field (or a Bachelor’s degree with at least two years relevant experience).
- Fluency in spoken and written English and Arabic.
- Demonstrated experience in development finance, public‑private partnership analysis, or economic policy research.
- Strong analytical and report‑writing skills.
