Senior AI Software Engineer – AI Hub

About the role

We are looking for a Senior AI Software Engineer to join our AI Hub in Amman. You will help deliver prototypes, proof‑of‑concepts and production‑grade AI solutions that modernise finance functions and drive data‑driven decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and optimise end‑to‑end AI‑enabled web applications, marketplaces and diagnostic tools.
• Develop secure, scalable APIs using Python (FastAPI) and Node.js (Fastify).
• Implement front‑end features with TypeScript, React and Next.js following enterprise UI and accessibility standards.
• Containerise applications and manage deployments on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and related Azure services.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
• Work with relational databases (MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and vector databases (Chroma, Milvus, Pinecone, pgvector) to build Retrieval‑Augmented Generation pipelines.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, security and cloud teams to ensure robust, production‑ready solutions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience delivering enterprise‑grade software across front‑end and back‑end.
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, SOLID principles and clean architecture.
• Proven ability to work in cross‑functional, agile teams.
