Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

Equiti is looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to strengthen the reliability, resiliency, and observability of its cloud platforms. You will work closely with engineering, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure high‑availability services for our fintech products.

Key responsibilities

• Champion the Resiliency pillar of the Well‑Architected Framework across designs and operations.
• Design and run Chaos Engineering experiments to validate fault tolerance.
• Assess and oversee cloud migration and modernization workloads with minimal disruption.
• Design, improve, and refactor observability solutions (metrics, logs, traces) for existing cloud infrastructure.
• Continuously evaluate cloud deployments for compliance with reliability standards and operational readiness.
• Identify gaps in observability, drive corrective actions, and enhance alerting quality.
• Participate in capacity planning, performance analysis, and system tuning.
• Mentor engineers on reliability engineering, troubleshooting, and best practices.
• Participate in a 24/7 on‑call rotation, handling incident response and post‑mortem reviews.

Required profile

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• 3+ years in a Site Reliability Engineering, Platform, or Reliability Engineering role.
• Proven experience with monitoring and Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools.
