About the role

The Spa Receptionist is the first point of contact for guests and members, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere while managing front‑desk operations, sales, and administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities

  • Read and update the daily log, communicating relevant information to staff.
  • Operate computers, copiers, typewriters, and credit‑card machines; handle cash drawer and daily accounting.
  • Process outgoing mail, gift certificates, and all guest charges.
  • Requisition and stock office supplies for the reception desk.
  • Assist guests with retail merchandise inquiries and promote spa products.
  • Respond to hotel emergencies and safety situations.
  • Control financial aspects of the reception area, including sales and retail inventory.
  • Use the Spa Ski System and Fidelio software to manage appointments and therapist schedules.
  • Perform inventory checks for products, retail items, and loaned clothing.
  • Prepare monthly reports on therapist sessions, memberships, birthdays, expirations, and payments.
  • Communicate reservation changes, cancellations, and additions to the Spa leadership team.
  • Promote a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety standards.

Required profile

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of experience as a receptionist or customer‑service representative in a corporate environment.
  • Strong customer‑service orientation and general office experience.
  • Excellent English language proficiency and good interpersonal communication skills.

Required skills

  • Proficiency with Spa Ski System.
  • Proficiency with Fidelio software.
  • Cash handling and daily accounting.
  • Inventory management and reporting.
  • Operation of credit‑card machines, computers, copiers, and typewriters.
