Account Manager

About the role

Etihad Airways is seeking a commercially driven Account Manager to join its Sales team in Amman, focusing on growing the airline's presence and performance in the Jordanian market.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales plans to achieve commercial and revenue targets.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with existing accounts, acting as a trusted commercial partner.
• Identify, prospect and develop new business opportunities across the market.
• Use sales data, customer insights and market intelligence to prioritize opportunities and support commercial decisions.
• Monitor competitor activity and share insights to strengthen Etihad’s market position.
• Negotiate and manage commercial agreements within established guidelines.
• Collaborate with sales colleagues and wider commercial teams to deliver results.
• Maintain accurate account information in Etihad’s CRM.

Required profile

• Proven experience in account management, sales or business development with a track record of achieving targets.
• Strong relationship‑building, communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
• Commercial and analytical mindset, comfortable using data and market insights.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts, stakeholders and priorities effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
