Accounting Team Leader

About the role

The Finance Team Leader will guide and oversee the accounting team to ensure accurate financial records and reporting across multiple legal entities. This position blends leadership with hands‑on financial operations in a fast‑growing online trading environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise month‑end and year‑end close activities for all entities.
• Prepare internal financial statements and reporting packages.
• Ensure accounting treatments comply with IFRS and company policies.
• Review and approve complex transactions.
• Monitor intercompany balances and reconcile them.
• Oversee accounts payable, ensuring timely invoice processing and vendor management.
• Maintain accurate VAT treatment and support tax audits.
• Identify automation opportunities and lead ERP enhancements, including user acceptance testing.
• Provide mentorship to junior staff and collaborate with Procurement, Treasury, Tax and other departments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting practices.
• Proven experience with ERP systems and accounts‑payable automation.
