Accounts Payable Specialist

About the role

Iron Mountain is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join its in-country Finance and Accounting team. The role covers day-to-day accounts payable transactions, Procure-to-Pay compliance and accurate month-end financial closing, working with finance leaders, regional controllers, external auditors and vendors across the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey region.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting transactions, including 3-way matching (purchase order, goods received note and invoice), vendor invoice booking, payment batch processing and monthly supplier reconciliations.
• Partner with the procurement leader, country accounting lead, regional controllers and external auditors to keep Procure-to-Pay processes compliant and streamline vendor communication.
• Carry out month-end closing activities such as supplier provisions, prepaids and accruals, and review travel and expense claims.
• Maintain audit-ready soft files in line with organizational policies and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• 1+ years of progressive experience in accounts payable, procure-to-pay or general accounting roles.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Fluency in English.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of end-to-end accounts payable workflows, 3-way matching, month-end accruals and banking systems.
• Vendor reconciliation, travel and expense policy enforcement, stakeholder collaboration and audit preparation.
