About the role

We are building a new AI‑driven automation platform at Connecting Research to Development (CRD) and need engineers who can design, implement and maintain the engine that powers it. This remote, part‑time role focuses on turning loosely defined problems into reliable, documented pipelines that leverage large language models.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and operate production‑grade automation pipelines using tools such as Power Automate, n8n and Python.
• Integrate large language models into workflows for quality assurance, document generation and data analysis.
• Document solutions thoroughly to enable future maintenance and hand‑over.
• Iterate on existing systems, improving performance and reliability over time.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering automation pipelines that run in production.
• Hands‑on experience applying LLMs to real‑world workflows.
• Ability to transform ambiguous requirements into reproducible, well‑documented solutions.
• Familiarity with survey data tools (Kobo, ODK) or the health and development sector is a plus, but not mandatory.
