Application Support Engineer (Python)

About the role

CFI Financial Group is seeking a skilled Application Support Engineer to maintain and troubleshoot backend systems for its online trading platform. You will work closely with development and infrastructure teams to ensure high availability and stability of services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide support for backend systems, ensuring high availability, stability, and timely issue resolution.
• Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve backend issues in collaboration with development and infrastructure teams.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to develop new features and products.
• Define and write technical specifications and present implementations to senior leadership.
• Implement unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews.

Required profile

• BSc in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Python for backend troubleshooting and support.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Solid understanding of microservices and service‑oriented architecture.
• Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD processes.
• Understanding of web security standards and best practices.
