Arabic Consecutive Interpreter – On‑Demand

About the role

Reviver is seeking experienced Arabic consecutive interpreters to provide on‑demand interpretation services over the phone and via video. You will help bridge language gaps for healthcare and other client interactions, ensuring clear and accurate communication.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consecutive interpretation during phone calls, meetings, conferences, interviews and similar situations.
• Listen to the source language speaker and accurately render the message in the target language after a brief pause.
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, cultural sensitivity and comply with HIPAA and Reviver’s protocols.
• Use approved technical equipment (headset, stable internet, laptop) for each assignment.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience or 3 000 hours of active interpretation work.
• Proficiency in Arabic and English with a technical proficiency rating on the ILR scale or equivalent.
• Pass a mock‑call assessment and provide an updated resume showing relevant experience.
• Clear criminal background check (English version) and ability to meet Reviver’s interpreting standards (IMIA, CCHI, NCIHC).
