Associate Project Manager

About the role

ABB is looking for an Associate Project Manager to lead small‑scale electrical projects in Jordan. You will ensure that project activities are executed safely, on time and within budget while supporting the company's electrification initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage projects from order receipt through execution, testing, delivery and closure.
• Review technical specifications, drawings, commercial offers and contractual requirements.
• Control schedules, milestones, budgets, costs and risks to maintain project profitability.
• Maintain project documentation and provide regular status reports.
• Collaborate with customers, factories, suppliers, sales teams and internal stakeholders.
• Use SAP for order handling, material management and cost monitoring.
• Apply HSE standards and ensure compliance with ABB safety and quality policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical project management, preferably with switchgear and service projects.
• Engineering background, bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Ability to work independently on customer sites and travel as required.
• Strong communication and commercial awareness.

Required skills

• Knowledge of MV/LV switchgear, GIS and AIS technologies.
• Familiarity with circuit breakers and protection systems.
• Experience with SAP for project follow‑up and cost control.
• Basic project scheduling techniques.
