BIM Coordinator - Infrastructure

About the role

Egis, an international engineering, consulting and construction firm operating in 100 countries, is looking for a BIM Coordinator with direct experience on infrastructure projects (roads, utilities, rail and bridges) to join its team in Amman. You will manage and implement BIM processes for large-scale infrastructure projects across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate BIM activities across multidisciplinary teams and integrate different design elements
• Develop and maintain BIM execution plans, standards and workflows for infrastructure projects
• Perform clash detection, resolve conflicts and optimise designs using advanced BIM software
• Work with project stakeholders so that BIM models meet project requirements and deadlines
• Hold regular BIM coordination meetings and give technical support to team members
• Produce high-quality 3D visualisations and simulations for client presentations and project reviews
• Maintain quality control processes for BIM deliverables
• Keep up to date with BIM technologies and best practices in infrastructure design and construction
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations in KSA, Dubai and the UAE

Required profile

• At least 6 years of professional experience, with proven expertise in delivering infrastructure projects using BIM according to ISO 19650
• Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects
• BIM certification, such as Autodesk Certified Professional, is preferred
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage several projects at once

Required skills

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks and Civil 3D
• Strong understanding of 3D modelling, visualisation techniques and infrastructure design principles
• In-depth knowledge of BIM standards and best practices
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in the GCC
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in multidisciplinary teams
