Customer Engineer

About the role

This is a hands‑on, full‑stack engineering position that sits at the intersection of product development and customer success. You will work on‑site in Amman, collaborating directly with enterprise clients to onboard, integrate, and optimise an AI‑native customer experience platform.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical liaison for enterprise customers, handling onboarding, configuration, and implementation.
• Debug and resolve complex issues in live environments, including integrations with helpdesk and CRM tools.
• Investigate third‑party integrations (e.g., Zendesk, Intercom, HubSpot) and ensure seamless data flow.
• Contribute production‑grade code to the Node.js and TypeScript codebase, shipping fixes and enhancements as needed.
• Translate customer feedback into concrete product improvements.

Required profile

• Strong full‑stack software engineering background with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Production experience using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Hands‑on experience with AI agents, large language models, LLM APIs, or prompt engineering.
• Previous customer‑facing technical work in a SaaS environment.
• Good understanding of helpdesk, CRM, and customer communication tool APIs.
• Fluent English and comfortable speaking with enterprise customers via video calls.
• Based in Jordan and able to work on‑site in Amman.
• Willingness to support customers across US, Europe, and Saudi time zones.
• Interest in fast‑growth startup environments.
