Cybersecurity Specialist - IAM and Vulnerability Management

About the role

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Specialist to provide secured remote operational support for identity and access management (IAM) and vulnerability management. The role ensures that access and vulnerability activities follow approved workflows and that evidence is audit‑ready.

Key responsibilities

• Support user, privileged and service‑account administration through approved requests and access workflows.
• Perform periodic access reviews, joiner/mover/leaver controls and prepare evidence for audits.
• Operate vulnerability‑scanning and reporting tools, validate findings with system owners and maintain remediation trackers.
• Handle IAM, MFA, privileged‑access and directory‑service incidents within authorized boundaries.
• Provide metrics, evidence and trend analysis for security reporting and governance reviews.
• Escalate overdue, critical or policy‑related issues to the onsite Security Engineer.
• Maintain operational procedures, access‑control records and vulnerability‑management documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IAM and/or vulnerability‑management.
• Experience with Microsoft identity services, SailPoint, CyberArk or equivalent IAM/PAM platforms.
• Experience with enterprise vulnerability‑scanning and remediation‑tracking platforms.
• Relevant certifications such as CEH, OSCP or GPEN are preferred.
• Strong understanding of privileged access, least‑privilege principles and audit evidence.
• Previous experience in regulated or government cybersecurity environments is a plus.
